Colonial Penang Museum to be opened

Under the proper care and guidance, Ms. Jasmine Tan, 67, and family have collected hundreds of antique colonial art pieces, furniture and relics. The Penang state government will be leasing a property along Jalan D.S Ramanathan to be converted into the Colonial Penang Museum where it will house such relics such as 19th century François Linke furniture masterpieces, Peranakan relics and even the authentic lease agreement of Penang Island signed by Francis Light.
